Bermuda Partners with WalletConnect to Enable Crypto Payments for Local Merchants

The Government of Bermuda has selected WalletConnect as the technology partner to introduce crypto‑enabled payments across its on‑chain economy initiative. The rollout will begin with the PTIX ticketing platform in the second quarter of 2027, allowing merchants to accept cryptocurrency directly from consumers.
