Binance applies for crypto license in Brazil ahead of Oct. 30 deadline

Binance submitted a cryptocurrency service provider license application to the Central Bank of Brazil on Oct. 23 through its local entity BBrasil, seeking to maintain operations in the country ahead of a Friday regulatory deadline. The filing allows continued access to crypto assets, stablecoin trading, payments and investment services for Brazilian users, though the exchange is also restricting lending and margin trading and delisting 22 assets.
