Injective partners with BDACS to launch KRW1 stablecoin for tokenized asset settlements

Injective has partnered with South Korean digital asset custodian BDACS to introduce KRW1, a Korean won-backed stablecoin, as the exclusive settlement asset for real-world assets on its platform. The move aims to allow institutions to settle tokenized asset transactions directly in KRW, reducing reliance on US dollar stablecoins. BDACS states KRW1 is fully backed by Korean won reserves, with minting and redemption initially limited to approved institutional partners pending regulatory approval.
