Qubic restarts blockchain and launches recovery claims after $1.4M hack

Qubic's layer-1 blockchain resumed processing transactions on October 19 after a wallet seed vulnerability allowed an attacker to drain approximately $1.4 million from 1,404 accounts. The project has launched a claims platform for affected users, who have until May 1, 2027, to submit claims. Qubic fixed the seed-generation flaw in its web wallet version 4.26.4 or later.
