Bitcoin rises above $82,000 as crypto bounces despite ETF outflows

Bitcoin climbed back above $82,000 on Friday, following a brief dip under $80,000, with ZEC leading a broad crypto bounce by jumping 11% to about $1,230. SOL and ether each gained more than 3%, reaching about $106 and $2,450 respectively, while DOGE and XRP added between 2% and 3%. However, U.S. spot ZEC fund lost about $15 million on Thursday, its fifth outflow this month, and Ether funds shed about $60 million, and SOL funds lost nearly $10 million, marking their ninth straight day of withdrawals; Bitcoin ETFs drew a net $5 million, a thin inflow after a $261 million exit on Wednesday.
