PACOM officials highlight multi-national data sharing network, 2026 marks first year of joint operations with common operational picture

Brig. Gen. Michael Smith of Indo-Pacific Command stated that 2026 marked the first year all partners could share a single common operational picture (COP) and act as one in warfighting. Lt. Gen. George Rowell noted the PACOM Mission Network was used across 17 exercises in nine host nations incorporating 35 countries, enabling for the first time key allies like Japan to use the Maven Smart System for sensor-to-shooter targeting with data translation.
