Binance, Deribit revoke SignalPlus API keys after fake Teams invite attack

Exchanges Binance and Deribit revoked API keys tied to crypto derivatives platform SignalPlus after a security breach traced to a fake Microsoft Teams invitation. Both said their own systems were unaffected, while Deribit customers lost trading, monitoring and automation via SignalPlus. SignalPlus reported losses under $82,000, began reimbursing users, and suspended services pending security reviews. The incident follows Binance's disclosed $6.3 billion hack on Oct. 29.
