Bitcoin Core updates security policy to address AI-discoverable bugs

Bitcoin Core has updated its security policy to backport fixes to all maintained releases and publish advisories for vulnerabilities deemed "easily discoverable" by large language models. The change follows a spike in bug reports where LLMs have drastically reduced the difficulty of finding issues, making long embargo periods ineffective. The policy shift was prompted by developer Antoine Poinsot, who cited a spike in reports of bugs that can be easily re-discovered via AI. The project noted that covertly patching such bugs would achieve little, as a trivial AI scan can find them anyway.
