NVIDIA Expands Confidential Computing to Enable Secure Scaling for Frontier Model Builders

NVIDIA announced the expansion of Confidential Computing with a new Confidential Bare Metal deployment option, allowing frontier model builders to run sensitive workloads on dedicated third-party infrastructure while retaining control of models and data. New platform security controls protect data in transit, measure platform integrity, and enforce hardware-level access restrictions. Providers including Google Cloud and Cohere are integrating the technology to support confidential AI training and inference.
