Solana completes Alpenglow upgrade, targeting 150ms transaction finality

Solana activated the Alpenglow upgrade, reducing transaction finality from several seconds to about 150 milliseconds under normal network conditions. This upgrade allows validators to exchange and combine votes into certificates, enabling blocks to finalize after one or two voting rounds. Wallets, fees, and applications remain unchanged, though network dashboards may show lower transaction totals since validator votes are no longer recorded as blockchain transactions.
