Binance reports recovering 80% of stolen funds, plans phased withdrawal restoration

Binance announced it has recovered approximately 80% of the $6.34 billion stolen in a recent hack, with over $5 billion in assets such as USDC, USDT, BTC, ETH, and BNB now in position. The exchange plans to restore withdrawals in phases within approximately 34 hours, beginning with a reserve proof snapshot within 12 hours. Separately, Bitcoin spot ETFs saw net outflows of $643 million yesterday, led by BlackRock's IBIT with $234 million in outflows. Additionally, Ethena deposited 128.6 million ENA (approx. $24.33 million) into Binance, and Chainalysis confirmed a data breach affecting customer names and email addresses.
