Solana slot reductions fail to curb memecoin bot sniping, outside buys stable at 53%

Blockchain data firm Bitquery found that outside buying within roughly 1.3 seconds for new Pump.fun coins remained at 53% in recent samples, unchanged from 52% in earlier data. While the share of coins bought in the first block fell from 42% to 32% as slot times shortened, the 1.3-second window showed no significant decline. Sandwich detection rates rose to 33 per 10,000 swaps in mid-September, persisting despite Solana's recent slot target reductions.
