Google to preview multi-party computation crypto custody system at New York symposium

Google will unveil a multi-party computation service designed to help financial institutions safeguard and transfer cryptocurrencies and tokenized assets, with commercial availability planned for early 2027. The system distributes private-key fragments across separate environments and applies institutional rules before transactions are signed, reducing the risk that one compromised machine could expose assets. Several major financial institutions are already testing the technology as design partners.
