Figma introduces Figma Specs to define design language for AI agents

Figma announced Figma Specs, a new Markdown-based editor, during its first Config event in India. This feature allows users to define a company's design language, reference design and code libraries, and integrate with the Payload headless CMS. The goal is to help both internal and third-party agents adhere better to brand design rules when creating with AI. Additionally, Figma made its code layers feature available in public beta, allowing agents to turn designs into code or modify code for prototyping.
