Ethereum Foundation activates Glamsterdam upgrade on Hoodi testnet

The Ethereum Foundation activated the Glamsterdam network upgrade on the Hoodi testnet at epoch 132,352 and slot 4,235,264 (October 26, 2026, 17:42:48 UTC). The upgrade introduces enshrined proposer-builder separation (ePBS) and block-level access lists (BALs) to improve L1 throughput, and raises the gas limit to 200 million. Gas pricing is also adjusted via EIP-8037 and EIP-8038 to better reflect execution and state growth costs.
