Ripple Wins Final OCC Approval for National Trust Bank, RLUSD Holders Benefit, XRP Holders Distant

Ripple has received final approval from the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to operate a national trust bank, Ripple National Trust Bank (RNTB). The charter specifically covers reserves backing Ripple's $2.57 billion RLUSD stablecoin, with RLUSD holders positioned to benefit from fiduciary custody services. XRP holders, however, are excluded from the charter's direct benefits, as the bank assigns no role to XRP. Despite a 1.11% price increase to $1.31, XRP remains down approximately 64% from its July 2025 peak.
