Shopify allows more AI agents to browse and purchase from its catalog

Shopify announced on Tuesday that shoppers can configure any AI agent to purchase products from its catalog, which includes over a billion listings across both on and off Shopify storefronts. Customers connect an agent to their Shop account to set rules, such as budget guardrails, and all purchases require buyer approval, utilizing the one-click Shop Pay feature for checkout.
