IMF Warns AI Could Affect 40% of Global Jobs, Hitting Young Workers First

IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva said in Bangkok that AI investment is sustaining global growth near 3% despite an energy shock. She warned that AI, described as a 'slow-moving tsunami,' will eventually impact about 40% of worldwide jobs, with roughly 60% of that exposure in advanced economies.
