The Glamsterdam upgrade, originally set for Oct 26 2026 17:42:48 UTC on the Hoodi testnet (gas limit 200 M), was postponed on Oct 22 2026 after ChainSecurity identified 13 real‑world smart‑contract safety risks linked to the proposed EIP‑8037 (gas‑reserve for state creation) and EIP‑8038 (state‑access gas cost).
