NVIDIA NVDEC is a GPU‑accelerated video decoder integrated into Adobe Frame.io’s search and ingest pipelines. It decodes video streams for embedding generation, enabling about 5× faster embedding creation, 4× higher throughput and 5× lower latency relative to CPU decoding. NVDEC operates alongside NVIDIA NVENC to accelerate media processing.
