USDT was a major asset outflow in the Binance hack, with 2.49 B USDT drained and over $1.567 B frozen by Tether. CEO Paolo Ardoino announced the freeze of more than $1.567 B for the $2 B outflow; Tether also froze $1.79 B and $975.1 M in its main receiving address.
