RLUSD stablecoin
RLUSD is a stablecoin issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company and owned by Ripple. Reserves are managed by Ripple National Trust Bank, with BNY as the primary reserve custodian. The stablecoin is used as collateral in Ripple Prime and for settlement on the XRP Ledger. It launched on 27 Oct 2026, going live on Robinhood Chain and on Bitstamp. Robinhood now offers RLUSD to retail customers and will use it on the XRP Ledger for institutional settlement. Bitstamp also uses RLUSD on the XRP Ledger to settle transactions.
